Hi Brian! Thanks for your visit. I don't feel that I'm "pissing against the wind" as attitudes have in fact changed considerably over the last 5 to 10 years, never mind the 30 years I've lived here, and the 39 you have!
In any case, whether into the wind or with it, "pissing" is greatly relieving when appreciated by others (lol). And if it is convincing, better still!

Impressive summary of the situation, though I rather feel you are pissing against the wind. I have been trying to get this view across for years and have come to the same conclusion as yourself. If they don't want us we'd be happier without them. BTW, I've been here since '69.
